DETAILED STATISTICS: Google Analytics provides extraordinarily comprehensive and detailed statistics for your blog. To use this free service, visit google.com/analytics/. Sign up for a free account, or use your current Google account. Follow the signup instructions provided. Once you receive the HTML code to insert on your web pages, select it and save it to a simple text file on your computer. Then, paste this code at the bottom of each of your blog entries using the "Edit HTML" tab on the editing window. Alternately, you can visit your Blogspot dashboard, click "Layout" for the blog for which you're adding statistics, then "Add a Gadget". From the list, select "HTML/JavaScript". Leave the Title blank, and paste the counter HTML into the Content section.
